Reflecting on Cartier Townsend
Cartier came to every class with a bright and beaming smile, lighting up the room with his playfulness and enthusiasm. He was a delightful part of our group with his beautiful energy. Cartier loved when we sang songs and even asked a few times if we could sing an extra one. It was lovely to see him interacting with his peers whom he had only known for a short time, and he always had something to share. Witnessing his creativity and artistic expression in our sessions was an honor. He worked hard on his collage, and made beautiful contributions to the collaborative piece.
It was truly a pleasure to teach Cartier; he will be deeply missed. Cartier passed away on July 8, 2023. May he continue to rest in peace.
